Green School Committee
The Bunclody Community College Green School Committee is comprised of students and staff. This committee keeps an eye on our schools waste management through regular waste audits and reviews. In the past they have held Waste Electrical and Electronic collections, battery recycling initiatives, mobile phone recycling competitions. The students involved apply their knowledge of mathematics and statistics in order to identify and correct any issues that arise around managing our waste.
The main focus of this committee is to reduce the amount of waste generated in general in our school and also to manage this waste in a responsible manner by recycling or reusing where possible.
