I am delighted to welcome you to our school website. We are very proud of our staff and the students of Bunclody Community College. Our school has grown from strength to strength over the years. This is due to the continued support from parents/guardians and past pupils, the excellent reputation of our teaching staff who are experts in and passionate about their subject area and the success of their students. All staff and students in BCC help create an atmosphere where we all work together towards a common goal; securing a strong future for our students. We have a great reputation as a caring school with committed teachers who are willing to go that extra mile to enable their students to reach their potential. Our academic programme with its wide subject range and programme options is designed to maximise each student’s chance of discovering and developing their talents and aptitudes. We also have a wide range of sports and extra curricular activities which help our students explore and develop skills, attitudes and a desire to excel. These programmes also foster teamwork among students and between students and their teachers which strengthens our school community spirit. Our school is a busy, happy place where dedicated teachers lead by example and work hard to inspire our students to develop a love of learning and a sense of responsibility to care for others.
