Congratulations and well done to BCC HSCL Coordinator Avril O'Sullivan and a group of dedicated Bunclody Community College parents who recently took part in the Women's Mini Marathon 10km Walk.
The group completed the event to raise funds for Dogs for the Disabled, a charity that provides highly trained assistance dogs to children and adults with physical disabilities, helping to improve independence, confidence, and quality of life.
Thanks to the generosity and support of our school and wider community, the fundraising campaign exceeded its original target of €500, with an impressive total of €637 raised.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has already donated and supported this worthy cause. Your contributions will make a real difference in helping Dogs for the Disabled continue their valuable work.
Donations are still welcome, and we would greatly appreciate any further support for this fantastic charity.
Well done again to Avril and all of the parents who participated in the 10km walk and represented Bunclody Community College with such enthusiasm and community spirit.
